Love it!

I just purchased this app after trying several other free ones (I thought since I was paying for it, it must be a good one!), and was sorely disappointed by how primitive it appears, and how few reading levels I actually received for my trouble. Where can I request a refund?

Does not really provide levels unless you sign up as a teacher. As a homeschooling mom I attempted to email to change what I signed up as so I could get the proper book levels but never received a response. You would figure if you have to pay for an app that you’d get the levels for the books regardless of what you sign up as. I don’t recommend this app if your looking for an app to find out reading levels.

I hate I paid for this. Can’t scan the books. Takes more time to manually enter all the information. Then on top of that, it shuts down completely when certain tabs are selected.

Being a school librarian, we get donations and would like to properly assign a reading level. Not only does the scanner rarely work, but there are virtually no books in this app with information or reading levels assigned to books that were finely identified. What a waste of $5!

I purchased this app from a review on a website. I should have checked their Facebook page first and read reviews.. no activity since 2018!! The books in our personal library.. most are popular children's books.. are either not found on the app or don't have any level information available. Sent an email with no response.

Want to change your email address because it’s been updated sometime in the last 10 years? You can’t. Want to combine some of libraries? You can’t. Want to search all of your library‘s? It looks like you can but the results are always zero., even if the book is already a part of one of your libraries. Many titles are not in their database and even if they are don’t expect them to provide reading levels. I do like that I can check to see if I have a particular title… If I can only guess correctly which leveled library it might be in.

App won’t scan any of the books. Entering them in manually is going to take ip so much time. A waste of 5 dollars don’t do it

Books I’ve scanned don’t have levels

I just PURCHASED this app to help find DRA levels quickly and easily, boy was that a mistake. I scanned 20 of my most popular books (Magic tree house, flat Stanley ext.) and there were only DRA levels for 2 of the books I scanned , it actually allows me to submit the DRA level myself which makes me not trust the ones that did pop up at all, it’s clear there’s no research put into this app, it just expects the teachers who PAY for the app to do the research and put in the information. This is NOT an efficient way to see the levels of books and a WASTE of money… the app is also extremely dated and has the format of an early 2000’s iPhone keyboard. I just threw away money buying this, don’t do the same.

Won’t scan as promised, also doesn’t have levels listed for most books. Waste of $5!

This app isn’t even worth the money… hard to get signed into then if you can it doesn’t work like it says it should. Not worth it!!!

I’ve been able to find a majority of the levels that I need, but some of them I have to dig for. The barcode option is wonderful, but sometimes it comes up with no information for any of the level types. However, if you search the title manually you are able to click on one of three or more duplicates and find an option that has at least the Lexie rating 90% of the time. This app would easily get five stars if someone was able to clean it up a little.

I bought this app thinking it could level out the books but of course none of them showed up. I tried over 20 books. It is a waste of $6!

How do I get a refund? I am teacher trying to level her classroom library. So far every book I scanned has no level information.

Over 90% of the books I scanned could not be rated or found.

It pulls from a very incomplete library and many of the entries lack cover pictures and reading level for all our most of the systems. If you are not a teacher it doesn’t allow you to add reading level info. Useless. Asking for a refund.

I purchased this app to level books for my classroom library by DRA level. I had a stack of 20 books and only 2 of them came up with a level. The rest had no level or couldn’t be found. Waste of money!

Of 100 books scanned 0 books showed me GR level. Waste of money

This app is misleading. Key features are ONLY available to teachers. Like scan a book to see what level reading it is. ONLY available to teachers. I just paid for an app that says let’s you do this feature and it does not. They took money. How does a Parent not allowed access over what level book child is reading. Total joke. Do not buy app. Waste of money, unless your a teacher. Asked for refund. No answer back yet.

Most of the books I try to scan either do not come up or they come up wrong. Very disappointed.

I bought this app so I could easily thrift new books for my classroom. Of all the books I scanned in the thrift store, this app only recognized maybe 2 or 3 of them. NOT WORTH $5 at all. Really disappointed I spent money on this. It didn’t help me at all.

I created an account. When I attempted to log in, it won’t let me in. So I tried to reset the password, but the email never came. Thinking I made a typo in the email address when creating the account, I tried to create a new account, but it said I already created an account. I can’t figure out how to log in.

I am leveling a huge classroom library and using 3 different apps. I will say sadly this one was the most expensive and is finding such a small amount that it has not been worth it. Many times it may find a book but will give NO info for the book which is not helpful at all. I would NOT buy this app. Wish I could get w refund 😞

Purchased this app for the scan feature to quickly level my books. And it doesn’t scan!!! I have to enter the ISBN 🙄

Absolute waste of money. I wasn’t able to find any of the book levels that I needed.

Not even going to keep the app every book I scan there is no level information. What a waste of money!

When scanning books the same book pops up for many different isbn and I have to take time searching manually. Also the levels are often not correct.

I was hoping this would assist in helping to level kindergarten readers. I tried the barcode, ISNB and titles. No help, do not waste your money

I am super disappointed. It doesn’t have most of my books and when it does there is no guided reading level listed.

Found 4 books in 20! Not worth the effort.

This app gave level information for only about 10% of my classroom library. Glad I got a free trial. Now it’s time to cancel because this app is definitely NOT worth money. Very disappointed because the scan feature would have been super convenient.

More books were not listed than were Very frustrating

I am a teacher trying to scan the book’s bar code, but the scanner just shows a black screen. I thought this would be the perfect time saver to get the remainder of my books leveled. Maybe the issue will get fixed soon. But am disappointed today.

I’ve scanned over 20 books only 1 found. It’s useless.

Have yet to find a book that is either in the database or is actually leveled. Wasted my money!

I just purchased this app for my classroom with school funds. I wish I could get a refund. I just scanned 30 books and only 5 were identified with a reading level. Approximately 10 weren’t even in the database. This is very frustrating. Now my students are suffering because of an inferior product.

I’m seriously disappointed for a $5 app. Do not expect much. The developer has LOTS to improve on and since this has been around for minimum two years, I’m not sure it will ever happen. If you’re looking for an app to offer a range of age-appropriate and new suggestions starting from Kindergarten, do not buy. If you’re looking for an app to help you conveniently convert your child’s school books across all genres to use the scale by which your child is assessed, do not buy this app. If you would like to filter your search by reading level or interest, do not buy this app. -Does it have an ISBN scanner? Yes. -Will the scanner find your book? 50/50 chance, higher if it’s a popular book publisher. -If the book is in the program’s database, will it convert your personal books’ levels for you? You have a 99% chance they do NOT have it already leveled, nor converted, in their database. -Does it have suggestions by grade level? The programmer has grouped K-1st together, then 2nd-3rd, then 4th-5th, then middle school, and lastly high school. As most people know, skill level by each grade varies remarkably. -How many suggestions in each category? About 20-25, they appear to be the popular stuff that every well-read parent already has in their personal library such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Corduroy, The Giving Tree, Charlotte’s Web, etc. -Who converts or levels the books? Who knows? Anyone who registers as a teacher can submit a rating or level. In summation, this app neither helped me level nor convert books I already have for my children and it also did not offer me any creative, new suggestions to help me to expand my children’s interests. If you still buy, just know the developer has made it where his/her paying customers can level/convert/rate the book if they want to do the developer’s job. If you’re a parent and an underpaid teacher like me, is your $5 worth it?

This app is pointless.. waste of $4 bucks.. every time I try to scan a book it says not found!

Not impressed. I wish I could receive a refund. The two books I just scanned searching for the level, neither was listed. As a teacher, I also thought their recommendations for specific grade levels were not for independent reading (student led reading), which is really what I was looking for ideas. Disappointing.

I love this app for managing my classroom library!

I bought this thinking it would help level my classroom library. I wish I was joking when I say that this app literally had zero of the books that I had. Save the money and use Scholastic Book Wizard instead. It’s free and it has almost all of the books that you would have in your classroom library. I need my money back now.

I tried to level 30+ books from my kindergarten library. Not a single book I scanned (including popular titles) was in their library. This app was completely useless. 😡

Out of all the books I have searched so far (about 15 well known books), I have only found two with minimal information/description. I really like the set up and presentation but what good is any of that if it doesn’t serve its purpose. Refunds should be a guarantee.

It was recommended by my daughter’s teacher. After scanning a bar code on “can I play too?” this app can only provide the title with no DRA2 level. But knowing the level is the reason I bought it.

This app wasn’t helpful at all! So disappointed!
