Level It Books App Reviews

No information. Total waste of time and money.

I have duplicate copies of same book and would like a way to show that on this program as well as to be able to check out these multiple copies to different kids. Also, the same title and author book is in there more than once due to different ISBNs from different print dates but one has only the Lexile and the other only has the Grade level. I like this program with exception of not being able to show more than one copy of each book in your library or being able to add a search detail in it for yourself to search with.

I was so excited when I saw this app on Pinterest. I leveled 30 books from home and it had guided reading levels for about 1/3 of the titles. Hoping more come. Also, it would occasionally get stick and Id have to quit the app to get back in.

I love the idea of the app, but there are a lot of books in my classroom library purchased from scholastic that arent on here. I was disappointed that I had to enter information or skip books completely when scanning my books. Great idea - love that they can be checked in and out like a real library.

Downloaded this app and then discovered that I needed to email support to have them add my schools email domain to their system. Then after finally logging in, the program didnt have ratings/reading levels as advertised. The program said that other teachers will need to submit the same book to come up with rating for each category. Best $3 I ever paid. Not!

I wish I was able to sync my Library from my iPad to my iPhone

This app has so much potential, but does not meet expectations. The functions are limited and many do not work. :(

This is the only app I have found to determine reading levels. The concept is great, and I love it for the books they already have loaded. However, after scanning dozens of my childrens books, the vast majority, especially the I Can Read series (and similar varieties), did not have grade levels available or were not in the library. I also do not like that the app asks users to submit info regarding grade levels. That makes me question the accuracy.

Surprised to find some classic books like Matilda by Roald Dahl dont have any levels. Would love 2 features: search by Title, Level, Author and viewing a sort feature by each of the different types of levels.

The idea is great but still some work to be done. I wish you can search a book by tile or author. The level of most of the books I have search cannot be found. I am a teacher on a childrearing leave so I dont have a school email. I cant submit book levels because of this reason.

I love the concept and I cant wait to get it into my library tomorrow. I do think its about rude to ask for another buck to change the font and color. I just paid $5!

This takes forever to open and then doesnt even scan ANY books Ive tried! I cant get this app do to anything! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Just downloaded the app & tried a dozen books on hand to get the lexile level and not one of them available. Classical to current! I would like a refund.

I trying to level my classroom library and have had only one book show up and it was the wrong level. I would like a refund!

Its such a great idea for an app and could prove very useful but none of the books Ive tried are in their database and the ones that are I have never heard of :(

Wish I wouldve read the reviews first! I love the idea and wanted to level my classroom library. The first book I scanned was not found so I typed in the ISBN # and it still couldnt find the book. Useless! And to think I spent $4.99 on this!

I am helping some teachers level their classroom libraries. Someone told me about this app. So, I purchased it to level all the books. I looked up/scanned over 30 books, some very popular books others not so much, some a few years old and others published in the last couple of years. But, not one of the books I scanned or looked up were found. I dont know if it had anything to do with the fact that most of the books being in Spanish. Either way, this app was not useful at all.

Its nice to scan books in and see a listing of your library. I wish you could enter a quantity though, for those of us who have multiples of the same book. I also wish it linked to a website so we could manage it online (I like the convenience of my iPhone but its not fun to do everything on my tiny screen).

Not happy with the app. Every book, yes EVERY book I scan comes up with the Lexile level as NA.

I can not believe I paid $5 for this! Its not working and I have well over 1000 books in my personal library and I cant find the levels for majority of them. It also will not accept my log in as a teacher and keeps saying it isnt in the system but when I go to sign up again it says it is in the system. I havent even had this app a day and have already had to contact support 4 times :-(
