Level It Books App Reviews

I was so excited about getting this app for my class library only to find it only recognized 1 out of every 25 or so books. I am so disappointed in this app. If it would let us manually add our books it wouldnt be such a huge issue.

This app is helpful, but I agree with many others that there needs to be a bigger database of books. Some of the ones I couldnt find here I found on the book wizard portion of the scholastic website but sadly neither of them have a large portion of the scholastic books in their database. Not sure why this is. Hopefully the system will get fixed soon. Is worth the money though for the time saved and the ability to add your library and the check in/ check out system. Oh, If you could add AR (Accelerated Reader)/ RC (Reading Counts) points to the system, that would be nice. :) Thanks!

I love this app! This is an indispensable app that every teacher and parent should have! I love the ease of use, just scan the barcode and itll tell you the grade level, Lexile level, the guided reading level and DRA whenever available. There is also the option to manually enter information if the barcode is missing or damaged.

But, as many reviews state, most books are not leveled in the system IF they even show up. :(

I love this app, I am using it to track my kids simmer reading ... I just wish there was a way to email my libraries to myself.

I had 6 library books and it only recognized one with the scan lookup. Could have been a good app. Waste of money.

Over half of my books are missing bc this app doesnt have them in its search capability. If they are going to charge $4 for this app it better have more books. Also almost 2/3 of the books I have arent leveled bc no information is available. Its a waste of money to buy this. Im really disappointed in this product.

I was very excited for this app. Im a new teacher and Ive really needed to level my books. This app is a great idea but has very few books in its system. Pretty disappointed.

I would like to be able to see the library lists I create on any of my apple devices. Unfortunately I cant seem to get the lists to transfer from one device to another.

Hardly any of the books I looked up on this app had Level info. Found another app that has more info and it is FREE. $3.99 is a rip off.

This is a great app. It helps me organize my classroom library. I can check books out to kids by just scanning the books and check them in when they return them. It makes it seem very official. I dont us the levels as much as I used to, but its nice to have them. The apps book database is the biggest obstacle Ive come across so far. Many of the books I have arent available in the app, and arent able to be added manually.

I just got this app and the scanner doesnt work. I want my money back!!!

Im not very happy with this app right now. I am having issues setting up my teacher account and it will not allow me to send an email to customer support.

Love the features...and that I have an easily created inventory of my personal library. Just wish the leveling was available for more titles.

I am a school librarian and use this app for my personal library --- easy to use ---- love, love, love it.

The best app I have ever purchased for my classroom, bar none! From organizing reading levels, organizing my roster to organizing book check outs, the app is truly a Godsend.

I couldnt find any book dra level

Very few books actually have DRA levels. Scholastic Book Wizard is better!

I bought this app because I want to organize my classroom library by reading levels. This app did not retrieve any information on the level of most of the books I scanned in my library. Of the books recognized, only a Lexile level was provided. Some books were not recognized at all. It may be a good app if all you want is to have a list of the books in your library, but it does not provide levels as the name and description implies.

I wish I could get my money back because it wont give me the leveled information as promised. I couldnt even get it to show level when I scanned a book that it featured and showed the levels when you selected it on their feature but not when I scanned the same book.
